António Lobo Antunes

Two lectures in Utrecht

On May 18 from 14:00 to 16:30 the Department of Portuguese will host two guest lectures by Prof. Ana Paula Arnaut on "O Feminino nos Romances de António Lobo Antunes" and by Prof. Teresa Cristina Cerdeira da Silva on "Literatura: A personagem em diáspora".
Prof. Arnaut teaches at the University of Coimbra and has regularly contributed to the programme in Utrecht. She is a specialist on Saramago, Lobo Antunes and postmodernism. Prof. Cerdeira da Silva, who was in Utrecht last a year ago, teaches at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro. Having been the first to publish a monograph on Saramago, she has published widely in the field of Portuguese literature. All interested are welcome to attend. The lectures will be held in Achter de Dom, room 0.03.
